It's been a long time since I have upgraded this page! Some things have changed: where I live & what I do... other things don't: what & who I love.
We have been living in Baton Rouge for nearly 2 years! I have discovered SEC football, the need for year round ice coffee, and Whole Foods. Wait, I am obsessed with Whole Foods... and Central Market (when we got to Houston).
School keeps me busy. I am completing my thesis for my MSc in Kinesiology this semester then only have 1 more class left before I graduate! I am certified to teach Zumba and Pilates... both of which I teach for credit at LSU. I am working towards being able to work as an Occupational Therapist in the USA... its been a long process but I am getting closer to achieving this goal.
My goal with this blog is to reach those who want to live a healthier lifestyle and take care of themselves so they can take care of others. I hope you'll think of the few minutes you'll spend with me each day as "me" time. I also want to use this blog to keep myself accountable to exercise, healthy eating, and living well on a budget.
I am by no means a dietician or exercise physiologist but I have my degree in Occupational Therapy and am close to completing my MSc in Kinesiology. The views expressed in this blog are based on my personal experiences. Please consult your physician before starting any exercise program or when requiring medical advice.
